About Me

I’ve spent 25 years in the trenches of leadership – as a team lead, project manager, department manager, and as a consultant helping leaders who have real problems. I’ve seen what works, what doesn’t, and how easy it is to fall into the trap of pretending you’ve got it all figured out. Spoiler: No one does.

Early in my career, I copied what I thought leadership should look like – the firm handshakes, the "strategic" jargon, and the performative confidence. But here’s what I learned: Leadership isn’t a script. It’s about showing up as yourself, doubts and all, and creating a space where your team can do the same.

Now, I help leaders stop winging it and start leading with intention. My background includes:

  • 10 years as a software developer (yes, I’ve written code that crashed in production).
  • 25 years in leadership and management, including two agile transformations from the inside.
  • A Master’s in Management Development (Copenhagen Business School) and training as a systemic coach (Attractor).
  • Real-world experience helping teams and organisations – from startups to global companies – build cultures where people actually want to show up.

I don’t do corporate fluff. I don’t do quick fixes. What I do is help you cut through the noise, challenge your assumptions, and build leadership that works for you – not for some textbook.

  • Style: Direct, no-nonsense, but not harsh. Think of me as the colleague who’ll tell you what no one else will – because they’re too polite or too scared.

  • Master of Management Development with speciality in power, values and how leadership behaviour influences organisational dynamics (Copenhagen Business School).

  • Worked with organisations around the globe to turn around teams and cultures (e.g., helping Scrum Masters gain clarity and management learn to trust).
